Following a press appeal for witnesses to the assault at Rope walk Ross-on-Wye on July 11th, a teenager was arrested. On Thursday July 24th the 14 year old boy was charged with two counts of wounding with intent. His bail was refused and he was remanded in custody to Hereford Magistrates court the next day.
Detective Sergeant Powell of Hereford CID stated: "This was a serious assault and I would like to thank the members of the public who assisted us in this enquiry. "We are still looking for other members that were with this boy. The police are still making efforts to trace them."
