Katherine Williams and her daughter, Ella took part in the St Michael’s Hospice Big Spring Walk at the weekend.
This is just the first challenge Katherine has set herself as she comes to terms with the death of her mother, Elisabeth. They were always very close but after Elisabeth was diagnosed with cancer they developed an even tighter bond.
For the last three years Katherine has made her Mum, her daughter and her business her priorities.
To show her thanks to St Michael’s Hospice, Katherine told the Ross Gazette that she is taking on eight challenges in four months.
Her first event completed, Katherine is now in training for the Hereford Duathlon, a run and bike ride taking place on April 10th.
So far she has raised £1,065 and so has set herself a new target of £2,000. If you would like to support Katherine, visit her donation page on the following website: justgiving.com/Katherine-Williams10/.
