The Phoenix Theatre Singers, based in Ross-on-Wye’s own theatre, have enjoyed a very busy 12 months and are looking forward to presenting their latest concert at the Phoenix Theatre, from Wednesday, June 29th – Saturday, July 2nd.

The strong programme that has been beautifully and ‘lovingly’ put together by their Musical Director Mary Brigg is entitled ‘All You Need is Love’. The evening will comprise of a wide variety of songs inspired by the theme of ’Love’ from West End to Motown Classics, this concert has something for the whole family to enjoy. Including songs from The Supremes, Elvis, The Beatles, Queen and The Righteous Brothers, as well as popular musical medleys from West Side Story, Miss Saigon, The King and I and Chess, this show is bound to bring out the romance in everyone.

The singers will be showcasing their talents, individually as well as small groups, they will be accompanied by Richard Watson, and directed and hosted by wife and husband team Mary and Gordon Brigg.

The Phoenix Theatre Singers have gained a reputation for producing high quality concerts that have impressed their audiences and have, at times, had them dancing in the aisles.

Last June they showcased their summer concert ‘Back to the Movies’, this was soon followed by their fabulous Gala Concert, in October which raised over £1000 for Children in Need. Then they got everyone in the festive spirit with their Christmas Concert in December. They have also been performing at various venues across the region, raising money for charities such as Marie Curie and Riding for the Disabled.
