Ross-on-Wye resident, Caroline Hopkins, recently attended a Town Council meeting to express her fears that rats or pigeons are living above the town’s Domino's.

The take-away chain has responded to these claims by ensuring that the store has 'exceptional hygiene standards’.

A spokesperson for Domino's said: "We’d like to reassure customers our store is completely sealed off from the property upstairs and has exceptional hygiene standards with a 5-star independent rating.

"We conduct regular hygiene and pest control checks, so we’re confident our store is unaffected.

"However, we’ve raised our concerns with the landlord, who is responsible for the property in question."
