ROSS-on-Wye certainly does have talent and what an incredible community it is.
A special Performathon was held at the town’s Phoenix Theatre where musicians and singers performed on the intimate stage in front of an ever-changing audience for a Children in Need fundraiser.
The organisers said that all the performers taking part and shared their amazing talent contributed to the success of the event along with everyone who came along to support this fantastic cause, they couldn't have done it without you.
The organisers said that a huge thank you was due to everyone who performed, donated raffle prizes, or came along to the Phoenix Theatre's Performathon on Saturday in aid of Children in Need.
Together, an amazing £1,600.12 was raised for this wonderful cause helping children and young people across the UK.
A special thank you to the event organiser, Mary Brigg, and The Phoenix Theatre Singers for helping to make the day such a success.
We would also like to say a massive thank you to all the wonderful local businesses who generously donated prizes for the raffle. Your kindness and generosity helped make the event even more special. An extra special thank you to Lyn Smith for organising the raffle, and to all the friends and members of the theatre who also donated wine and chocolates.
