THOUSANDS of people in the Ross-on-Wye area could be missing out on better broadband services, Openreach has warned.

More than 7,000 homes and businesses in the town can already upgrade to full fibre, but thousands of people are yet to switch.

Openreach has invested £2.1m in the new full fibre network for Ross, reaching around 80 per cent of properties.
