Members of the Ross-on-Wye Stroke Club thoroughly enjoyed their trip on the Willow Trust Canal boat on a sunny Wednesday.
The boat was moored at Saul Junction and cruised at a leisurely pace towards Sharpness. Those who felt adventurous were able to take the wheel while others spent time on the open deck. A stop at Purton gave time for a picnic lunch.
The Ross-on-Wye Stroke Club is a well established group for people who have had a stroke, and their carers. The lunch time meetings are an opportunity for encouragement, fun and friendship.
The club is open to anyone who has had a stroke and would like to meet and find support from other stroke survivors. Please contact Jean Harrison (01989 567242) for more information.
