Ross Tennis Centre, where a lot of locals will have learned to play under the coaching skill of Chris Friend, has been granted a 30 year lease by Ross Town Council and has become a new Community Interest Company.

The Directors of Ross Tennis are ambitious in their aims to upgrade the facilities to create the ‘best tennis facility in Herefordshire’, whilst regulars will still benefit from being members. The Tennis Centre will remain open to all.

Before committing to any large expenditure or changes, the Tennis Centre first wants to understand what the members and public think and are prepared to support.

To this end they are holding a meeting, open to anybody who is already a member or player, or indeed might feel like getting involved in the future.

Everyone is welcome to join the Directors of Ross Tennis Centre CIC for a drink and discussion about the plans at 6.30pm on Monday, July 23rd at the Chase Hotel.
