ROSS Men's 2nd XI hockey team travelled to Cirencester on Saturday and came away with their first victory of the season.
This was a very competitive engagement, which could have gone either way – even at the final whistle Cirencester were still allowed to take two consecutive penalty corners.
became a constant thorn to the Cirencester defence.
The only goal came from a superb strike by Tony Faulkner, after a well worked short corner. Tony was also awarded the South Hereford Motorcaravans man of the match award for his constant verbal encouragement.
