Ross CC entertained Canon Frome U15s at home at The Park on Tuesday, June 23rd in the Leadon Vale Youth Cricket League.
Ross won the toss and put Canon Frome into bat. The decision was the right one with only Henry Coleman retired (20*) making it into double figures in a very unevenly matched game.
Jack Waldis proved to be on top form taking two run outs, a catch and a caught and bowled (J Godsall) to return figures of (1.3-1-2-2). Harry Porter and Chris Mair picked up a wicket each, Ed Cindery notched up another stumping and Lucas Abbott put in another good bowling spell to return figures of (2-2-0-0).
In reply it only took the Ross team nine overs to reach their required total. Dan Barnard fell to swift stumping from Freddie Coleman, Gabriel Warwick put on a quick fire (17) which left Harry King (17*) and Matt Young (6*) to bat through to clinch an easy victory.
