Madam, what does the Rosswyn mean to me? In 1978 I came to Ross for the first time, with my wife from East Anglia for a job interview in Cinderford. We stayed at the Rosswyn for a night in preparation for my interview on the following day. We were welcomed and made very comfortable by Rose and her husband and slept in a four poster bed that night. I got the job and stayed there for seven years. However, since then, due to redundancy and site closures I have had three other jobs in the Forest. Thirty three years later I am still in Ross, a smart move I would say. It is sad to see the demise of the Rosswyn.
