Roy's Boys and The Mighty Atoms were the victorious teams at the Finals of the Roy Evans Memorial Front Pin Skittles competitions were held on?February 7th.
Both semi-finals were very exciting and close games with Roy's Boys beating the Wanderers 160-155 and Terry's Tornadoes beating the Wallbangers 163 – 160.
In the final Roy's Boys beat Terry's Tornadoes 162 – 149 and took the much coveted trophy. They last won it 10 years ago.
The play-offs took place for the highest ladies score which was won by Katie Goodman and also for the highest spare which was won by Pete Hobden.
The highest men's score was held by Malcolm Gwynne with 66, but he was unable to attend the finals night.
The Mighty Atoms won the highest all ladies team trophy with 133.
The committee is grateful to all the players for their support and the Conservative Club for the use of the facilities, as well as to Andrew Cornwall for his sponsorship, and all those who contributed to the raffle which was much appreciated.
