Even though the Royals entertained the Colts both teams are from the same club and play on the same pitches so it felt like a home game for both.

The Colts started the match the better team and put the Royals' goal under quite a bit of pressure. With Marcus pulling off some good saves and Max and Rohan standing strong they weathered the storm. Then Myles started to take control of midfield and put pressure on the Colts' goal. This led to a cross from Luke being tipped onto the crossbar but Jordan was on hand to score the first goal.

The Colts rattled the Royals' crossbar but then they were awarded a penalty when Harry J was brought down in the area. Rohan's penalty unluckily hit the foot of the post and kept the score at 1-0 at the break.

In the second half Finn scored one goal and helped set up another for Harry J to put them 3-0 up

Dan and Harry both put in good performances but the fourth goal was a bizarre own goal by the Colts' defender, which was a bit unlucky for them.

After such a good performance by all of the boys, it's hard to single out one player so the Property Shop man of match goes to the whole team for a great team performance .

The cup semi-final is next week against Pegasus.
