A woman who brought her father to visit his wife’s grave on their anniversary was shocked to see piles of rubbish at Tudorville cemetery, in Ross-on-Wye.

Jane Greenwood lives near Ledbury but travels to Ross most weeks to tend her Mother’s grave. She was at Tudorville Cemetery, with her partner and her father on August 8th as it would have been her parent’s wedding anniversary on this day.

Jane posted pictures of the piles of black bin bags onto Facebook. She said:?“It was a terrible sight when we were last there, we were all very upset as you can imagine at all this rubbish being dumped and in such a place as a cemetery.”

Ross Town Council, which is responsible for the maintenance of Tudorville Cemetery is aware of the large amount of rubbish which has upset visitors to Tudorville Cemetery in Ross-on-Wye. A spokesperson for the Council told the Ross Gazette:?“We are aware of the rubbish and it will be removed by Friday, August 10th.”
