May I, through your column, thank the 48 businesses who donated prizes for the Ross R.F.C. Christmas Draw which was held on December 15th at the Drop Inn.

Together with donations from members and friends we were able to offer a substantial and varied list of prizes.

It was a very pleasant, and sometimes humerous, evening enjoyed by all who attended.

On behalf of the Club, President, Martyn Pocknall presented a cheque for £300 to the Ross First Response Team which was accepted by Responder Roger Powell.

The first three winners were as follows, A three-course dinner for two, with wine donated by No3 Restaurant – Mrs C.Hannaford, Cheltenham. Bosch upright cordless cleaner donated by Pete Jarvis – Fin Christopher, Ross and third, four tickets to Worcester Warriors match donated by the Warriors – Mr Steve Burns.

A list of all other prize winners is on display at the Drop Inn, Station Street or the Greytree ground.
