Madam, It was with interest that I read your article about the 'Walking Bus' taking the pupils of Gorsley Goff School safely to their waiting parents so reducing traffic problems around the school and I must wonder if thought could not be given to John Kyrle School.

Whereas I would not expect to see students, mainly in their teens, forming a 'walking bus', the problem of traffic obstruction in Ledbury Road, one of the busiest roads in Ross, seems to be getting worse. From around three o'clock parents line up, many with wheels on the pavement, to create a serious hazard to passing traffic. Similar problems are met by drivers using Court Road and Three Crosses Road.

Good facilities have been provided for the buses taking children home so would it not be possible for safe, convenient space to be found for waiting parents?

Perhaps your readers might have some ideas for the school administrators.
