Ashfield Park Primary School has updated their website with the following statement:

The school will be closed on Monday 9th July except for Year 5 pupils. Year 5 pupils should go directly to the Year 5 mobile classrooms for registration and then they will go up to JKHS for their days events. They will return to the mobile classrooms for normal collection.

We are anticipating that we will be open on Tuesday 10th July. The school are working round the clock with the Local Authority, contractors and other services to .

The school would like to thank the local fire brigade who were invaluable this morning.
