John Kyrle High School pupils and staff collected over £1,000 for Children in Need by coming to school in non-uniform or fancy dress, and taking part in lunchtime events.

Events organised by pupils at Garway primary school, with the help of the school council and the Let's Get Cooking club, included a sponsored bake and a 'wear something different to school' initiative. In addition, pupils paid to have their photo taken as Pudsey Bear.

THE Children, their parents and friends of Walford Pre-School enjoyed a spotty activity morning while celebrating the BBC's Children in Need.
