Members of the Ross-on-Wye Civic Society and their supporters were present at Ross Heritage Centre for the launch of the second collected volume of essays, Historical Aspects of Ross Volume II.

The book, which is published by Logaston Press, contains Pink Publications numbers 11 - 20 and is the follow on from Volume 1.

Rhys Griffith, Senior Archivist at Herefordshire Record Office, launched the book and called it a shining example of good local history which is not in the least parochial. He said that it included fascinating analysis which had been 'built on a bedrock of exhaustive research.'
