Shoppers in Ross are being warned to be on their guard after police received reports of two women having their cash cards stolen in the Ross Morrisons store in Station Street.
Both victims were in the store and, after paying for their shopping, they headed for the car park. When outside they were approached by a white female with a foreign accent who asked for directions and said she needed to pick her husband up (on one occasion she said Bristol and the next Birmingham).
One incident took place on Wednesday, October 17th at lunchtime and the second incident took place on the morning of Thursday, October 25th.
Shortly after the conversations had taken place the women realised their bank cards had gone and large amounts of money had been taken from their bank accounts.
The offender is described as a smartly dressed female with dark hair and dark eyes.
