Sandra Hunt will be speeding into Monmouth with an evening of entertainment on Sunday, March 6th at the Savoy Theatre, with the tale of a daredevil who defied convention in the show ’Fast Woman’.

The actress will be presenting the extraordinary life of the fiesty and courageous Mariette Helen Delangle, who in the midst of the roaring twenties moved to Paris, cast off her previous life and became Hellé Nice - model, artist and racing driver, who was later nicknamed “The Queen of Speed”.

On Thursday, March 10th the one-man show ’Grav’ will be coming to the Savoy. ’Grav’ is an award winning production which explores the life and times of one of Wales’ best loved sons, Ray Gravell. Written by Owen Thomas, Grav has been created with the blessing of Mari, Ray’s widow, and includes contributions from his Welsh and British Lions team mates. Known to millions for his legendary exploits on the rugby field, ‘Grav’ was also a cultural icon, a father, a husband, a man with a life packed full of stories that deserve to be heard once more.

Tickets for the shows are £10 and £12 respectively, and can be bought by calling the Savoy Theatre Box Office on 01600 772467, or by visiting monmouth-savoy.co.uk.
