Sing Out Strong have announced they will hold a free Virtual Choir Practice on Thursday, March 19 at 7:30pm via Facebook live.
Sing Out Strong is a choir group that focuses on mental health, and is run by professional conductor Emma Rowland.
Having been forced to suspend all choir activities as part of the government guidelines to reduce all non-essential contact in public, Emma has decided to open the virtual choir practice to anyone and everyone - regardless of whether they have sung with the group before - and already has over 100 members ready to sing.
Emma will be guiding the singers through a new original song written by herself that they will all learn together by ear.
The sheet music is already in the group for singers to download and no prior singing experience is needed with everyone free to join in.
All the information can be found on the group’s Facebook page @SingOutStrongWellbeing and the designated group for the Virtual Choir Practice can be found here:http://www.facebook.com/groups/SOSVirtualChoirPractice
