The choir, formed in 2010, is a four-part, non-auditioning group of energetic singers who practice every Monday at the Goodrich Village Hall. There is always a warm welcome to new members. The Roaring Megs believe that if you can talk, you can sing. There is scientific proof that singing improves your mental and physical health, and they look forward to meeting new members.
As we rapidly approach winter, the Roaring Megs are preparing for their Annual Christmas Concert. This year it will be held in St Giles Church Goodrich, on Friday, December 7th. They will be joined by the talented and enthusiastic pupils of Goodrich Primary School, and the profits from the evening will support marine conservation, through a charity that the school is supporting this year.See this week’s paper for more stories like this, available in shops and as a Digital Edition now.
