Emma Creswick and her friend Natasha Weale are planning a skydive to raise funds for the Ross Gazette’s Charity of the Year, Rocky Lees Little Feet.

The charity, which was founded by local residents Sian Coopey and her husband after they lost their son, Rocky Lee.

During her ‘maternity leave’ Sian used the time she would have spent looking after her baby to set up the charity to help people who cannot afford a memorial headstone or plaque for their stillborn baby.

She also wanted to raise awareness of the impact of pregnancy and baby loss with a view to bringing comfort to bereaved parents and their families after the loss of a baby.

Emma took part in a previous fundraiser for RLLF, a firewalk, but this will be the first challenge Natasha has taken on for the charity.

Emma told the Ross Gazette, “It is something we have always wanted to do but it was very important to help Rocky Lee’s Little Feet too.”

Natasha’s mother recently organised a bingo evening to help them reach their target and raised £350. Emma said they are both going to hit their target but hope to raise as much as possible before the skyjump in April.
