Shopkeepers in Ross are reeling after a string of burglaries in the town centre this week.

In the early hours of Sunday morning, July 6th, Police were called to the Miss-in-Ink tattoo parlour in Copse Cross Street following a break in. A charity tin for Air Ambulance and a 'tips' jar containing approximately £60 were stolen. Later, on Sunday night, a door was forced at Bamboozled, on Gloucester Road, but nothing was taken. A glazed door was also smashed at Crows Feet, in Cantilupe Road, where cash was stolen.

Other businesses on Cantilupe Road were also the subject of break ins. On Sunday, the front door of Susannes hair salon was smashed in with a paving slab and empty charity tins and paperwork related to the salon's accounts were taken. This followed a break in at the home of salon owner, Susanne Blackwell.
