Madam, I was concerned to read in the Ross Gazette last week that PC Challenger thinks that Walford Road, Alton Road and Ledbury Road are the only areas in Ross with speeding issues.

As a resident of Edde Cross Street I can state that there is a significant problem with cars speeding along this road, especially at night.

If the police don't consider this an issue they must be out of touch and if they would like to lend me a speed gun I would be happy to keep watch. The blind junction at New Street makes this even more of a problem and perhaps speed reminder signs or signs warning motorist to slow down at the junction could be installed.
