MADAM, AFTER our great success of 2008, with a gold for the town, Ross in

Bloom 2009 is well underway! The colour theme this year is gold, silver and bronze, which will enable us to use yellows, oranges, browns, rusts,

whites and greys, as never seen before! All interested parties must register this year if you wish your scheme/hanging baskets to be judged.

Registration packs can be found at Ross Garden Store, Lucas Motorcycles

and Ross Heritage Centre as from 20th April. They will give you all the details you need. Of course you don't have to enter anything, simply join in the fun so that our town bursts with colour! A solitary hanging basket or tub can make all the difference in brightening up a dull street corner or shop front. Why not team up with other likeminded people in your street and organize your scheme together? Ross Garden Store will be offering

10% off bedding plants as we move into April/May so keep a look out for

the special money off vouchers in this paper. They will also be included within the entry packs. Official judging will be carried out in July.
