Three nonagenarians are continuing to enjoy developing their musical talents thanks to a new director at their village orchestra.The Goodrich Holiday Orchestra meets every year, at Goodrich village Hall from the last Wednesday in May to the following Saturday. It is a String Orchestra of some 20 players, and has been meeting for about 40 years.

William Hancock has directed the orchestra for the last 26 and has now retired, and has handed over to the new director, Chris Mason, who lives in Stoke onTrent.There are vacancies in all sections and applicants can be assured of a wonderful time.See the full story in this week’s edition of the Ross Gazette, or subscribe to our online edition here
