Many of the residents at Brighterkinds Ross Court gather on a Saturday evening to watch Strictly Come Dancing. When the programme came from Blackpool Tower Ballrooms, residents decided that the occasion needed to be marked.

Aimee Harbourne, Principal Teacher from the Three Counties School of Dance was delighted to assist. On Saturday afternoon a large group of her students, and their parents, brought the art of dance and performance to Ross Court.

Students displayed a wide variety of dance styles from examination pieces, a tap display from the musical Mary Poppins and a magical ballet performance from Sleeping Beauty. Residents and staff commented on the professionalism and confidence of all of the performers, and Mrs Auty, Home Manager thanked Aimee, her pupils and their families for a delightful afternoon.

Following an opportunity to chat to the students over tea, residents took their seats to watch the celebrity stars take to the floor. Everyone agreed Aimee and her students had brought the magic of Strictly to Ross Court.
