WESTON Athletic dropped points for only the second time this season on Saturday when they were held to a one all draw by third placed Worrall Hill. The draw was a fair result for both teams. The game started with the referee giving a free kick on the edge of Weston's box within the first minute and the home side went one up. Weston were very disjointed for much of the first half but started to play much better football towards the end but the score stayed at one nil to the home side at half time.
After half time Weston came out and started to play much better. Maslom and Jenkins were dealing admirably with the dangerous front two strikers for the home side. On 60 minutes Weston deservedly got their equaliser, a quick free kick was taken by Kittner who played in Robertshaw out wide, his pin point cross was met with an excellent finish by Stuart from 10 yards out. With the home side starting to tire Weston had chances to score the second goal. However, the scores stayed level until the final whistle.
Golf In Man of the Match was Alex Malsom.
