For many years, members of Ross on Wye Lions Club have made sure that the town centre is brightened up with flowers in the two boxes they installed. This year, once again, the boxes have been planted with summer bedding plants that will give a pleasing display.

They can be seen at Five Ways and High Street, places that many people pass every day. This year the boxes have benefitted from a coat of paint and Lions Mel and Andrew Middlecote took charge of making sure the boxes look the best they can for the start of the summer months.

Yet again, thanks are due to Ross Garden Store for their generous donation of plants. On behalf of Ross Lions, President Jenny Symington told the Ross Gazette: “We are extremely grateful to Glyn and The Ross Garden Store for their help and support. Without their advice and kind donation we would not have the potential for the displays that help to welcome visitors to our town”.
