Ross Town Councillor, Daniel Lister has been taking part in Jordan Creed’s challenge to be reliant solely on local buses, for more than a week now. On Tuesday, April 19th, Cllr Lister met with Jordan Creed, along with two other Herefordshire Councillors who have already completed the challenge, Ledbury-based Cllr Liz Harvey, and Cllr Jim Kenyon from Tupsley.

Cllr Lister told the Gazette that although he is enjoying the challenge, it can, at times be difficult. He works in Foy, which is not on the bus route which means he has to catch the bus for a part of the way, and then he must walk, run or cycle the remainder of the journey.

He added:?“Over this week I have seen that the buses are really good.”

All Councillors were very supportive of Jordan’s campaign to save the local bus service, and spoke of their frustration that later buses have stopped.
