Ross mum, Claire Griffiths was very concerned when she saw a syringe last week under the bush at the bottom of Brampton Street.

She was worried about what to do with it when workmen who were cleaning the drains nearby offered to removed it for her. She said that they had gloves on and said they would dispose of it properly.

Claire was particularly worried becasue it still had the needle attached and becasue she has a two year-old who could easily have picked it up.
