Pupils at Gorsley Goffs Primary School once again demonstrated their amazing array of talents at their annual Spring Show.

The theme of the show was Spring and on Thursday, March 4th the children entered competitions for decorated eggs, miniature gardens, art work, photographs and home baking which they had prepared at home. There were also some events which were prepared in school such as poetry writing, handwriting and singing.

Head teacher Di Atkinson said: "Thank goodness for sunshine!!! It is so lovely to see spring breaking and what a way to celebrate it by having the Spring Show. I am totally amazed at the talent, creativity and culinary skills of our children.

"The show was a great success with many entries for each category and the final singing of 'Here Comes the Sun' was truly amazing. I feel so proud of them all."

The judging and performances were carried out in the morning and there was be a display of work in the school hall for parents to see.

The overall winner was Red House by only two points so it was a very close contest.
