Tesco has decided to remove plans for a petrol filling station and kiosk from its application for a new supermarket off Overross Street in Ross-on-Wye.

The news was confirmed to County and Town Councillors in a series of meetings to update them, held by Tesco, as we went to press.

A spokesman for Tesco said: "The decision was made after consideration of the responses from a number of consultees, including Ross Town Council, ward councillors, local residents and the Environment Agency."
