A team of year 5 boys from Ashfield Park Primary School had the opportunity to test their running and map-reading skills when they entered the Hereford and Worcester Schools Orienteering Championships at Eastnor Park on Saturday, 13th March.
All the boys did well, running solo against a competitive field comprising mostly of pairs. George Nicolson was unlucky to narrowly miss out on third place, but all achieved very respectable times. Special mention should go to George James who was determined to complete the course despite feeling unwell.
