Dear Editor,

I am writing with the hope that the very kind lady that came up to me as I was going into Morrisons on Thursday last week will read this.

I was just inside the door when this lady came up to me and handed me a beautiful bunch of flowers, and said that it would have been her mother’s birthday on Monday, but she was no longer able to give her flowers and would like me to have them instead.

As this was a bit of a shock I feel like I didn’t get to thank her properly and I would like to let her know what a wonderfully kind thing I felt it was. The flowers make me smile hopefully as much as they would’ve her Mum. Many thanks to you.
