Madam, Through these pages, my sister, KD, and myself, Patrick Mallinson, would like to express our heartfelt thanks to everybody in our community and beyond who has helped us through this difficult time in our lives. We lost our Dad seven years ago when I was 13 and my sister was 10 and our mother died three weeks ago on August 19th, leaving us both alone. Our parents were both adopted and with no other family members to guide us, family friends have stepped in and arranged the funeral as well as helping raise the money needed to cover the funeral expenses. As we are on low incomes and don't claim any benefit, we weren't eligible for official help, so to everyone who donated, a huge thank you, we couldn't have managed without you. Naming individual people or organisations would be unfair, because there are so many and we would probably forget one or two, but there are certain people who have gone above and beyond, and to those people we will be forever grateful. Again our thanks and gratitude goes out to you all
