MADAM, Our mother, Doris (Dee) Watkins recently passed away due to a short illness. She regretably took ill while on holiday in Portsmouth, and received wonderful care in the Queen Alexandra ICU unit. After a few weeks she was transferred to Ross Community Hospital, where again the care she received was explempary.
We would like to express our thanks to all staff at both hospitals for their care, kindness and support over these difficult few weeks. In a time where patient care seems to be in the news for all the wrong reasons, we feel that it should be noted that these institutions provided Mum with thorough, professional treatment. It was despite and not because of this that she passed away. We would also like to highlight the great understanding and kindness of Dr Leeman of Pendeen Surgery, who helped us through these hard times.
Ross should be very proud of its hospital!
