Plan are well advanced for the 2018 Bromyard Gala – the 51st show – to be held once again at The Burgess Farm, just down the B4214 Ledbury Road, on Saturday, June 30th and Sunday, July 1st.

The main attraction this year is Cardfach, the World War One Welsh Horse Display – very relevant in this, the 100th Anniversary of the end of the First World War, a conflict which has huge repercussions on life throughout the country. Also attending is the Amazing Steve Colley, with a very fine Motorcycle display.

All the usual attractions will be there, including the extensive vintage display of Traction Engines and Rollers, classic cars, motorcycles, tractors, commercials and other vehicles, and an extensive vintage working area, now a particular feature of the show. There will also be a great range of trade stands, and day-long childrens’ entertainment on the “village green”.

A new attraction this year is the Saturday Morning Vintage Auction, to be conducted by H J Pugh – the renowned expert auctioneers, and details can be obtained from their website: www.hjpugh.com where the entry form can be found.

Sadly, the organisers have had to announce the postponement of the Handicrafts show, due to illness; there will be a special one-day Handicrafts event in town on September 15th.

Notwithstanding all of that, there will be a vast amount to see, and a wealth of attractions to enjoy; don’t miss it!
