In contrast to indulgence in rich food during the Festive Season the guest speaker this month demonstrated the art of making healthy canapes.
Yvette Farrell, from Harts Barn Cookery School, showed how to create both savoury and sweet canapes using fruit and vegetable bases. Members were able to taste sample creations and take away ideas for the party season.
The meeting concluded with mince pies and tea and a reminder of the forthcoming Christmas lunch at the Wilton Court Hotel.
