Madam, On behalf of the ringers of Saint Mary's Parish Church, Ross-on-Wye, I would like to assure your correspondent, whose letter, 'No bells in Ross?' was given 'top billing' last week; that there were indeed bells rung in Ross on Friday 27th from exactly 8.12 to 8.15 am. Seven of us went up the church tower to ring the church bells, which should have been audible all over the town – even in Greytree.
