MADAM, as you know many local people last year were outraged by the closure of the Chestnuts Care Home in Ross, and we are now told it may be sold off for Residential Units.

But surely this building, which has served the community for so many years, can continue to serve the community in some way.

Why not let the Town Council have the use of it? It is a big premises and may be useful in many ways to the town, not just more money making Residential Units.
