MADAM, We must all cry shame for Ross on the closure of The Chestnuts, which has provided a haven with a first class service to our town for a number of years for Rossians and their families with caring staff par excellence.

Suffice it to say that the actual demise of this admirable asset to our community was carried out in a most unsatisfactory manner with at least two different versions being given to the Public arising in deep distress being caused to those most affected.

Surely the townspeople together with the now unemployed staff and ex-residents and their families deserve, at the very least, a full and complete inquiry into the whole situation with, if warranted, a hearing with an appropriate commission so that any similar injustice can be prevented.
