We may not have reached the August Bank Holiday yet but pantomime season is already in full swing at the Courtyard, Hereford.
On Thursday, August 25th, members of the cast of Aladdin met the show sponsors, the Mayor of Hereford, members of the Courtyard Board and supporters at a launch party held in the Theatre.
Writer, Lyndsay Maples, and Director, Estelle Van Warmelo were also on hand to talk about the traditional pantomime which will be a given a Herefordshire twist.
The Dame this year is new to Courtyard audiences, Phyl Harries has been playing panto dames for 14 years with the Clwyd Theatr Cymru but will be Widow Twankey this year.
Dario Cacioppo, a Gourtyard panto favourite is returning for the third time as Aladdin. Also returning is Madi Machahon who is playing the genie.
