Dear Editor,
I am not sure if your readers are aware of the massive industrial proposal for the erection of non-rotating Polytunnels covering 32 hectares for the growing of soft fruit at Llangarron.
How much more plastic will HCC allow to the detriment of our unique landscape?
(Plastic for recycling is now being rejected by China)
The knock-on effect of this proposal, if granted, will put even more pressure on the infrastructure of our already well used country roads and local surgeries.
It will be highly detrimental to the wildlife of which the county is justifiably proud.
I can see no benefit what so ever to the community.
S Probert
Llangarron
Editor’s note: The Ross Gazette has received several letters regarding this planning application, however the planning process will only take notice of objections which have been formally lodged with Herefordshire Council.
