Groups of children and their parents have been taking part in the Ross-on-Wye Odd Object competition, in the lead up to the Carnival, which takes place on Saturday, August 5th.
The competition, which has been organised by the Association of Ross Traders, proves popular with locals and visitors year after year. Participants spend hours gazing into the shop windows in the town, trying to work out which object in the window is odd to the shop.
The Carnival committee is very grateful to all the town’s traders for participating in the competition, each year the objects get harder to find.
The Odd Object competition will finish at 12 noon on Thursday, August 3rd. The winners will be announced on Carnival day.
To take part, you can pick up forms from the Market House, The Corn Exchange, Lucas Motorcycles or Ross Library.
To be in with a chance of winning the Odd Object competition, send your completed entry form to Market House Visitor Centre, Market Place, Ross-on-Wye, HR9 5HD by 12 noon on Thursday.Ross Carnival takes place this Saturday.
