Madam, This is just a big thank you.
I felt rather sad on Wednesday this week as I saw the Blue Boxes being emptied for the last time. I remember when we moved to this part of the country how we were impressed by the Blue Bag scheme collecting waste paper. We saw the progress to the collection of glass bottles and jars and tins and the introduction of Blue Boxes. The whole recycling operation was quite impressive with the special vehicle
I would like to say a resounding WELL DONE ! and THANK YOU to all who have been involved in a most successful public service - perhaps they have become victims of their own success. I do hope all will find alternative employment.
