Pupils at Gorsley Goffs School were surprised and delighted to have an extra visitor at their special Awards Assembly which took place on Monday, July 18th.
The Editor of the Ross Gazette attended the assembly to tell the school that the results of the 150th anniversary logo competition had been finalised. The shortlist included four pupils from Gorsley Goffs and the Editor congratulated the pupils and the school on their entries, which were of a very high standard.
She explained that it had been very difficult to select the winning logo but the final design was chosen because it reflected everything the pupils had been asked to include in their designs by the general manager, Charlotte Reynolds.
The winner was Eben Harris and his logo will appear on every copy of the Ross Gazette in our 150th anniversary year.
