Nigel Hand, the well-known ecologist and adder expert, will be talking about his lifelong passion for the ‘vanishing viper’ at Goodrich Village Hall on Friday, November 10th, at 7.30pm for £3.00.

The Secret Life of the Adder - an illustrated talk will cover his recent telemetry work on this secretive and threatened species.

Nigel’s work with adders was recently featured on BBC Countryfile, the One Show and in the July 2016 issue of BBC Wildlife magazine.

The talk will cover the fascinating details that Nigel has learnt about the secretive life of adders through radio telemetry projects, working with various conservation bodies in central and southern England including The Zoological Society of London, the National Trust and the Wildlife Trusts
